Jason Masserelli and Don Richards met with Sheriff
Wendall Hall and his deputy to discuss items that can be enforced via
ordinances and what items fall under jurisdiction of county code
enforcement. There were numerous items that were interpreted
differently between both parties, but the sheriff made a commitment to
work with the county enforcement to more clearly define those items.
They also provided some information on the ordinances around litter and
what they can do to prevent a built up of litter. We want to take
those items and others and develop a page on the SRSHA Website with
answers to FAQs pertaining to the neighborhood.

you feel may be a code or ordinance violation please check out the
county Development Services web page on code compliance by following

Neighborhood Watch
Summer was rather quiet in
SRS with two exceptions – someone knocked over one of the bird houses in
Swenson Park and we’ve had an upsurge in UNLOCKED car burglaries –
especially in the Circle Drive and Laurel area.
Fortunately, with the birdhouse - it was only the
pole that was broken, so repairs have been made and the bird house is in
its place again.
