From the President's corner February
2010:
Happy New Year! I hope all have thawed out from the frigid start to 2010.
I am honored to be the new President of our Association. I cannot begin to try to fill the shoes of our Past President, Don Richards, but I will certainly do my best to lead this organization to the best of my ability. We have a terrific group of volunteers on the Board and I look forward to working with all of them.
Invoices have been mailed to all homeowners for 2010 membership dues. Our membership discount program was a huge success last year and we are offering the discount cards again this year. If you have not heard about the SRSH membership discount program contact Don Richards or Margaret Cunningham they will be delighted to talk with you about joining and all of the benefits membership brings with it. Remember, by using your discount card at just a few of the more than 30 participating merchants you can recoup your membership dues!

The Community came together
to make another wonderful event on April 3 at Swenson Park.
We had a
record number of children and they all seemed to have a great time.

850-932-2914 . Thanks to all the volunteers and to everyone
who contributed to making it a great event.
Membership and Quarterly Meeting
In 2008 we had 239 paid members and this year we already have 264 paid members. “Thank you” to each and every one of you for helping our association improve our community. If you have a new neighbor, please help us recruit them as a member. If you are not a member and would like to join our association, please contact me or any of our board members. You can find them in this publication or on our website www.santarosashores.org .
Don’t forget one the best perks of being a SRSH, Inc. dues paying member is our tremendous discount program. We now have over 30 businesses that offer various discounts to our members. If you have any questions about the program, please speak with me or Margaret Cunningham 850-932-2914.
Our next quarterly homeowner’s meeting will be
Saturday, July 18th at 8:00 a.m. at
Tiger Point Golf Club. We will be holding a drawing for 2009 members in attendance. To enter, please complete
the red form on the bottom right of page 5, clip it out, and bring
the completed form with you to the meeting. Then drop the form into the bowl
for a chance to win $25.00!!! We look forward to seeing you
at our next Quarterly Homeowners’ meeting!
