From the President's corner October
2011:
Hope everyone is enjoying the great fall weather.
Our next General Membership
meeting will be held at Tiger Point Golf Club October 22nd at
8:00AM. Please attend this
very important meeting if at all possible.
We need to elect a president, vice-president and secretary to the
Board of Directors. If these positions are not filled, the Homeowners
Association will cease to be.
I’m sure no one wants to see that happen. Most of the people now serving
have been on the Board for many years. We need volunteers to commit to
serving on the Board for at least a two year term.
We also need district representatives to deliver The Tidings, place
flags on holidays and solicit membership from residents within their
district. If you are interested in serving, please call or email a board
member.
Coffee, juice and continental breakfast will be
provided at General Meeting. Bring your entry slip that’s in this issue of
The Tidings for a chance to win $25 in the member attendance drawing.
Halloween Party Planned for October 31st, 6-7:30 pm at
Swenson Park. Bring the kids to Swenson Park on Halloween and enjoy
lots of treats and goodies provided by volunteers from the Homeowners
Association and the SRS Women’s Club.
THANK YOU Margaret Cunningham for putting this event together! Come
check out our new pavilion too!!!!
Our annual Christmas Party will be held at Tiger Point Golf Club on
December 2nd. A cash
bar will open for cocktails at 5:30 with a buffet dinner served at 6:30.
Prize drawings, dancing and
entertainment will follow dinner. Come celebrate with your neighbors, enjoy
a delicious dinner and dance in the holiday season. Cost of tickets will be
$75 per couple or $38 per person.
Tickets will be available through Don and Darlene Richards – 748-9446, 1129
Park Lane. Deadline for ticket purchases is November 23rd.
Make checks payable to SRSH and write “Christmas Party” in the “for” portion
of your check. You can mail or drop-off your checks to the Richards and they
will deliver your tickets.
